Overview In this IT Audit Manager role, you lead risk-based audits across Amazon's Devices, Advertising, and Media & Entertainment Internal Audit teams. You will plan, execute, and report on audits, partnering with engineers and leaders to strengthen controls and improve processes. You'll translate complex risks into practical recommendations and mentor a small audit team. The role blends risk assessment, data analytics, and stakeholder influence to drive meaningful improvements and broader risk-aware operations.

Responsibilities- Plan, scope, and deliver multiple audits and advisory engagements across diverse business areas
- Lead and develop audit teams, coaching Senior IT Auditors and IT Auditors
- Identify root causes of control gaps and drive cross-functional remediation
- Use data analytics to inform conclusions and validate controls at scale
- Communicate complex technical issues clearly to senior leadership and the Audit Committee
- Influence senior stakeholders to align on practical, scalable risk mitigation
- Contribute to audit methodology and standards across DMAAC and Internal Audit
- Balance depth with efficiency while adapting to shifting business priorities
Key requirements- 8+ years in technology-related roles involving IT audit, risk management, or related fields
- Bachelor in Computer Science or related discipline
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate to senior leadership
