Overview In this role you will support Millennium's expanding private credit business by evaluating accounting and financial reporting matters for new investments, transactions and acquisitions. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure proper structuring and compliant reporting, while delivering robust technical analyses and clear communication to external advisors and auditors. The position combines high-impact deal work with GAAP reporting and disclosures, offering exposure to complex investment transactions and a dynamic growth environment. You will play a key role in shaping how the private credit franchise grows and reports to stakeholders.

Responsibilities- Review complex investment transactions to identify accounting issues and reporting requirements
- Provide guidance on accounting treatment for private credit activities and strategic transactions
- Participate in deal discussions to ensure optimal structuring and accounting
- Document technical accounting analyses and coordinate with external advisors and auditors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the firm as a trusted partner
- Prepare/review internal reporting materials and U.S. GAAP disclosures
- Support monthly reporting and year-end audit processes across Financial Reporting & Accounting Policy group
Key requirements- 6+ years in an audit/accounting/financial services role at a Big 4 or in industry in a private credit fund (experience in both is a plus)
- CPA (or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP technical accounting with ASC 946 experience for investment companies
- Extensive knowledge of credit-related investment products and related U.S. GAAP disclosures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a demanding environment
- Proactive and dynamic with the ability to engage external advisors and internal stakeholders
- Strong technical proficiency with web applications and Microsoft Office; familiarity with other reporting systems, Alteryx and AI tools is a plus
