Staff Engineer I - Enterprise Application Services

Overview

In this role you will own and operate the enterprise AI agent platform (including Microsoft Foundry) to enable secure, compliant AI-driven processes. You'll lead platform governance, administration, and incident response while collaborating with security, infra, identity, and application teams. You will configure Foundry resources, deploy models, and manage access via RBAC to support business objectives. You'll build observability at platform scale and guide cross functional engineering efforts. This is a hands-on, impact driven platform engineering role.

Responsibilities
  • Own and administer the enterprise AI agent platform (Microsoft Foundry) including governance, security, and compliance
  • Manage platform operations: environment administration, access controls, monitoring, incident response, governance processes
  • Provide technical leadership to enable development, deployment, optimization and operation of AI agents for business processes
  • Create and configure Foundry projects, agents, connections and resources (Cosmos DB, AI Search, storage)
  • Deploy and manage models from the catalog, configure quotas, maintain content/guardrail policies
  • Assign and audit Foundry RBAC roles (Foundry User, Foundry Account Owner, Project Manager, etc.)
  • Provide platform support: capacity planning, toolboxes, hosted runtimes, tracing and incident reports
  • Collaborate with Principal Engineers to align with standards and architectural principles
  • Design and implement platform-level monitoring and observability for transparency, traceability, and auditability
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of software development or engineering experience
  • Bachelor in related field
  • Experience with Python, C#/.Net, or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with Microsoft Foundry; Foundry IQ preferred
  • Experience with Copilot Studio alongside Foundry-built agents or Power Platform preferred
  • Understanding of AI models and enterprise AI workload cost implications preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory, legal compliance obligations in financial services
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and pipeline development
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
