Overview As Quality Manager, you will lead quality control across three facilities in Chesterfield and Troy to ensure products meet standards. You'll implement and maintain the QMS, drive corrective actions, and report quality metrics to leadership. The role collaborates with manufacturing and other functions to troubleshoot issues and prevent defects. Responsibilities- Establish and maintain QMS per IATF 16949, AS9100, and ISO 9001
- Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of quality standards, processes, and work instructions
- Conduct management review meetings and promote QMS awareness
- Create and monitor quality objectives and metrics with data-driven reporting
- Manage document control for critical QMS documents
- Lead customer-facing actions (corrective actions, 8D) and ensure timely responses
- Perform FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis; drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams
- Investigate customer issues, plant problems, and rejected parts; develop plans to drive change
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred) with Six Sigma Certification
- Minimum 3 years of quality management experience in automotive manufacturing
- Six Sigma Black Belt preferred (willingness to obtain)
- Experience with APQP, 8D, Six Sigma and Corrective Action tools
- Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO/TS/IATF 16949
- Ability to multi-task, strong communication/listening, critical thinking, and analytical skills
