Overview As a Tax Manager in RSM's Real Estate group, you will lead and review complex real estate tax work while mentoring junior staff. You'll serve real estate clients ranging from REITs to developers, aligning tax strategies with business objectives. You'll manage client relationships, support business development, and stay current on tax law changes. Responsibilities- Advise on corporate tax services including planning, compliance, and M&A activities
- Review and analyze complex tax returns with attention to firm standards
- Coach and train staff, providing performance feedback
- Coordinate tax service delivery for clients and manage client communications
- Support business development and identify tax issues for existing clients
- Stay up-to-date on tax practices and regulatory changes
- Assist with new business opportunities
- Manage client tax needs and federal/state compliance
- Travel may be required
Key requirements- BA/BS in Accounting or related field
- CPA, JD, LLM, or EA
- Minimum 5 years in public accounting
- Experience with S-Corps, C-Corps, or Partnerships
