Overview In this role you will enable scalable EDA functions in a Cloud-enabled environment and drive modernization of tapeout workflows. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across product lines, manufacturing, and IT to deliver process improvements and visibility into tapeout performance. You'll explore new tech, including AI/ML and cloud services, and build tools that enhance quality and efficiency. This is a hands-on, impact-driven opportunity at a leading semiconductor foundry with a focus on modernization and data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities- Enable scalable EDA in a Cloud environment
- Improve secure on-prem automation flows
- Learn and apply new technologies and trends in tapeout tooling, including AI/ML and AWS
- Create data visualizations and tools to view EDA outputs for process improvements
- Perform data analytics on Tapeout KPIs to optimize Cloud Tapeout execution
- Support customer Tapeouts, mask manufacturing enablement, and fab wafer start enablement
- Develop cloud-based business process improvement tools using out-of-the-box services
Key requirements- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience
- Prior Tapeout operations experience (preferred)
- Semiconductor device design and validation knowledge
- Experience developing EDA flows and automation
- Proficient in Linux/Unix
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
- English fluency (written and verbal)
- Experience with project life cycles and tools like Azure Dev-Ops and JIRA
- Experience with integration pipelines (Bamboo, GIT, Jenkins)
- Strong written/verbal communication, planning and organizational skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive projects to completion
