Overview In this role you lead the delivery of large, complex federal construction programs. You oversee on-site construction activities from mobilization to occupancy and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes. You coordinate with government clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to align requirements and drive successful project execution. You apply change control, risk management, and best practices to keep programs on track while developing team capabilities. This is a hands-on leadership role shaping multi-project delivery in a government real property context.

Responsibilities- Provide on-site construction management oversight across mobilization, site prep, build, fit-out, commissioning and occupancy.
- Lead multiple construction projects ensuring timeliness, quality, and completeness.
- Interface with clients to define requirements and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee construction and renovation activities for government real property and facilities.
- Manage a large, multi-faceted project and coordinate with the PM team, government agency, architects, and contractors.
- Delegate tasks, mentor Project Managers and Assistants, and ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Maintain deep knowledge of all construction phases and develop development documents with architects and engineers.
- Lead project meetings, track metrics, and ensure user needs and schedule are met.
- Prepare scope of work, technical reviews, and project-related reports.
- Develop charters, act as Change Agent Manager, enforce change control, drive contingency planning, and promote lessons learned.
Key requirements- Active and maintained Top Secret federal or DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in Construction, Facility or Project Management
- Five (5) years of additional relevant experience may be used in lieu of degree
