Overview As a 3D-PDS Structural Designer, you support SRR engineering teams with 3D modeling and design development for facility structures. You will produce design outputs, review vendor documents, and collaborate with field and off-site interfaces, ensuring SRR procedures are followed. The role centers on concrete structural detailing, PDS-based modeling, and integrating layouts for piping, HVAC, and site plans. You will work in a mid-senior capacity on an important Savannah River Site engagement, contributing to safety, reliability, and project execution. This opportunity offers hands-on design work within a regulated nuclear-related program and exposure to multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities- Provide 3D PDS design and modeling support to SRR engineering teams
- Develop design outputs including piping layouts, HVAC duct layouts, and site layouts
- Conduct design development and produce output documents
- Review vendor documents and interface with vendors and fabricators
- Travel to interface with external teams as needed
- Apply SRR processes and procedures in all work
Key requirements- Eight years of experience as a Structural Designer with detailing and building-structures design
- Proficiency in 3D structural modeling and PDS Frameworks
- Ability to perform field walk-downs
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Formal CAD or 3D modeling training; High School Degree required
