Overview In this Technical Manager role at Huron, you will lead the Workday HCM Payroll implementation lifecycle across client teams, driving HR transformation in dynamic client environments. You'll coordinate design, build, conversion, testing, training and go-live with high visibility within the firm. You'll mentor staff and contribute to the development of project management and technical capabilities. You'll collaborate with cross functional teams to enable scalable, process oriented change that aligns with client goals. Responsibilities- Lead the full implementation lifecycle (planning, configuration, design, build, conversion, training, go-live, post-production support)
- Collaborate with Huron and client teams
- Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation
- Identify and modify business processes as needed
- Support testing approaches for script development and execution
- Mentor and develop staff in project management and technical dimensions
- Contribute to multiple projects of varying scale and duration
Key requirements- Workday HCM certification - Payroll
- 8-10 years of Workday Payroll implementation experience
- Prior management consulting experience in HR transformation
- Experience leading large-scale client projects (preferably in Higher Ed/University settings)
- Excellent written and spoken communication; ability to build trust and collaboration
- Ability to train and develop staff in project management and technical areas
- Strong analytical skills to translate meeting outputs into documentation
