Overview In this role you will lead people strategy for Generac's Eagle facility, aligning HR with business goals to drive performance and engagement. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, shaping policies, programs, and talent initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You'll partner across HR functions to boost leadership capability, workforce planning, and compliance, while delivering measurable improvements in engagement and productivity. This is a hands-on, strategic role at the intersection of people and performance.
Responsibilities- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and lead employee relations, policies, and HR programs.
- Partner with leaders and HR teams to grow diverse leadership, talent, and technical capability.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to strengthen employer brand and expand talent efforts.
- Manage workforce headcount to support productivity and efficiencies; implement standardized programs to boost engagement.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company policies.
- Provide project management leadership, including planning, execution, cross-functional coordination, and risk mitigation.
- Lead team design, coaching, performance management, and progressive discipline as needed.
- Capture lessons learned from projects and promote best practices across teams.
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or relevant equivalent experience
