Construction Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead construction projects for large-scale multi-family and residential developments. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure design standards, governance, and timely milestones are met, while delivering excellent client service. You'll provide cost control guidance, constructability input, and proactive risk management to support clients and stakeholders. This is an opportunity to shape projects from planning through delivery within a client-centric firm focused on value and best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Manage stakeholders (architects, engineers, suppliers) to deliver compliant projects
  • Analyze and track critical milestones to prevent schedule slips
  • Ensure governance, processes, and systems are applied across projects
  • Produce formal project status and other required reports
  • Monitor multiple projects to ensure design standards are applied
  • Manage interfaces with suppliers via monthly trackers and weekly reviews
  • Facilitate flow of project information through meetings and written communications
  • Forecast and update key project milestones
  • Oversee local design teams per commission criteria
  • Provide technical support to owners, architects, GCs, and regional stakeholders
  • Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field
  • Offer cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance
  • Independent review of status reports, drawings, timelines, and costs
  • Assist in developing strong client relationships to maximize opportunities
  • Provide strategic advice to meet client and business objectives
  • Capture key learnings and knowledge from each project
  • Identify process improvements for internal systems
  • Comply with SOX controls where applicable
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
