Responsibilities- Prepare individual, business, and other tax returns for clients across entities and industries
- Collaborate with the tax team on planning, client interaction, and special tax projects
- Gather relevant tax information from clients to ensure accurate returns
- Assess tax positions to maximize benefits
- Produce accounting-related reports in a paperless environment
- Participate in training, professional development, and networking events
Key requirements- Bachelor in Accounting
- Active CPA license preferred or working toward it; EA accepted
- 1-3 years of tax experience in public accounting
- Ability to explain tax concepts (e.g., 1040 vs 1120)
- Knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations
- Keeps up-to-date with evolving tax rules
- Self-starter who works well independently and in a team
- Capable of handling complex tasks and understanding compliance processes
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
