Overview

In this Manufacturing Consultant role, you will help clients redefine and modernize their industrial and automotive operations at scale. You will work within Industry X to deploy digital, AI, and automation solutions that optimize material flow and production performance. You'll lead cross-functional teams, manage delivery end-to-end, and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. This position offers a chance to shape large-scale manufacturing transformations and contribute to Accenture's reinvention agenda with practical, impact-focused work.

Responsibilities
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of large industrial and automotive transformation programs, including brownfield and greenfield plant projects
  • Apply manufacturing and supply chain levers to implement digital, AI, and automation technologies
  • Lead and coordinate diverse global teams with coaching and quality oversight
  • Develop and maintain client relationships at manager/director levels through structured problem solving and credible delivery
  • Collaborate across Accenture Supply Chain & Engineering to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions
  • Contribute to manufacturing-focused thought leadership and client-ready materials
  • Maintain awareness of Industrial and Automotive ecosystem, platforms, vendors and capabilities
  • Support evolution of Manufacturing reinvention offerings and potential leadership roles
  • Understand processes such as production planning, quality management, asset reliability, and process design & simulation
  • Manage project scope, planning, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes across changing client priorities
Key requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and material flow in automotive/industrial manufacturing
  • Experience leading large-scale design and implementation of material delivery routes, simulations, ergonomic considerations, IT/OT integration, PFEP, and business case considerations for AMRs
  • Strong vendor knowledge and risk assessment capabilities in this space
