Overview As Senior Manager, HRBP you partner with Plant management to align people strategies with business goals and provide trusted HR guidance. You lead core HR processes, support leadership development, and drive employee engagement across a 350-employee manufacturing site. You work with cross-functional leaders to translate workforce insights into practical actions that boost performance and culture. Responsibilities- Lead core people processes: performance management, learning, development, recruitment, leave management, and DEI initiatives
- Provide HR generalist support for 350 employees across three shifts in a 24/5 operation
- Advise employees and managers on employee relations, policies, and employment laws
- Build relationships with department heads and client groups; counsel leaders to optimize outcomes
- Partner with site leaders to translate business priorities into people strategies
- Identify people-related opportunities using data and workforce insights; propose practical solutions
- Oversee HR administration (onboarding, org charts, dashboards, exits, temporary labor, safety, training, compliance)
- Manage termination processes and exit analyses; coordinate with relevant departments
- Prepare analytical reports and tell the data-driven story to leaders
- Monitor turnover and implement retention and engagement strategies
- Collaborate with Employee Engagement and Operations Culture Committees to align engagement priorities
- Coordinate recruitment with Talent Acquisition; oversee local recruiter for hourly roles; align with corporate methods
- Manage HR programs (interns, town halls, open enrollment, talent management, onboarding, training)
- Champion culture with Lean Six Sigma and other HRBPs across Operations
- Develop and update HR policies to ensure compliance with law and best practices
- Stay updated on HR trends and share insights with HR and line management
- Handle ad hoc projects as needed
- Present HR plans and proposals to leadership
Key requirements- College degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years HR Business Partner experience; 3+ years in manufacturing/CPG preferred
- Spanish language - highly preferred
- On-site availability; ability to work five days a week; remote flexibility
- Broad knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Data-driven, agile thinker with strategic and hands-on capabilities
- Strong problem solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, charts), Word, and PowerPoint; Experience with SuccessFactors preferred
