Overview In this Senior Construction Project Manager role, you will lead major capital projects from concept through completion, acting as a trusted client advisor and driving project success. You'll mentor teams, manage finances and schedules, and ensure health, safety, and QA/QC standards. The position supports CHA's mission to build cleaner, safer, and more resilient communities, collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver high impact projects.
Responsibilities- Manage private and public sector projects to on time, on budget, high quality completion
- Advise clients and participate in hiring project staff across sites
- Lead and mentor project teams and develop junior staff
- Communicate progress to clients, management, and teams; participate in monthly reviews
- Prepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, schedules, and closeout documents
- Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
- Ensure Health and Safety Plans (HASP) and Quality Management Plans (QA/QC) compliance
- Develop and sell project work with clients and participate in marketing plan development
Key requirements- Bachelor in Engineering or related field; or equivalent experience/licensure
- Minimum 11 years of industry experience; at least 8 years in project management
- Expert knowledge of project engineering or construction principles and schedules
- Experience managing client relationships and interpreting contracts
- Experience with proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and closeout documents
- Ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash management processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with MS Project, Primavera P6, or Deltek Vision
- Strong problem-solving, initiative, and multi project oversight能力

- Consulting experience and/or utility client relationship experience preferred
