Overview In this role you will lead end-to-end HR process projects, aligning scope, timelines, and budgets with business goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to map and optimize processes, remove bottlenecks, and implement clear SOPs and job aids. You'll communicate progress to stakeholders, manage change, and track value realization. The role offers a chance to shape HR processes in a dynamic environment and drive measurable improvements.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans (scope, timelines, resources, budgets)
- Project manage major HR initiatives with critical-path tracking to hit milestones
- Create and maintain process maps for current and new HR processes
- Develop process architecture, documentation, SOPs, and job aids for best-practice adoption
- Prepare update slides and communicate key initiatives to stakeholders
- Identify standard HR project practices (change management, stakeholder alignment, testing, cutover plans)
- Create communication plans to keep the organization informed and engaged
- Track outcomes of process improvements to measure value and close business cases
Key requirements- 2-4 years in process analysis and project management
- 2-4 years in HR process and technology-focused projects
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart)
- Proficiency with project management software (Smartsheet or similar)
- Experience with Workday or similar cloud-based HR software is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Team-oriented with ability to foster a cooperative environment
