As Sr. Tax Manager/Director, you will lead multistate SALT matters for a key automotive components client, guiding audit resolutions and technical research. You will mentor staff and collaborate with clients to address state tax issues, shaping tax strategy and risk management. This role sits within a broader finance function and offers scope to influence tax policy and controversy handling. You will contribute to a high-performance team that supports cross-functional decision-making and client service excellence.

• Work directly with state auditors to resolve audit issues
• Research technical state tax issues and document conclusions with detailed memoranda
• Supervise staff
• Work directly with clients to address state tax issues

• CPA and/or JD
• Minimum 10-15 years multistate state and local tax experience
• Advanced knowledge of sales/use tax and income/franchise tax
• Public accounting/consulting experience
• State and local tax controversy experience
• Senior Management experience
