Overview In this role you design, develop, and validate electro-mechanical and mechatronic control systems for large engines and aftertreatment. You work within the Large Engine Controls team to deliver control features that meet customer specs, using dynamic feedback control theory and software architecture. You'll develop algorithms, run simulations, perform on-engine tests, and document results while collaborating with cross-functional partners. This is a hands-on position with impact on emissions and engine performance, offering product-scale problem solving and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities- Collaborate with process partners to refine engine control system requirements
- Design and evaluate control features using engine, aftertreatment, and dynamic feedback controls (frequency/time-domain, DSP, filter design)
- Develop and maintain control algorithms, software specs, and emissions documentation
- Analyze data with Vector CANape, Matlab, and Python; present findings and recommendations
- Conduct simulation-driven design analyses and report actionable insights to stakeholders
Key requirements- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering
