Senior Design Engineer

As BIM Manager, you will lead BIM coordination and model management for our Los Angelas Interior 557 operations in Anaheim. You will drive clash detection, model reviews, and coordination meetings with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth design collaboration. You'll create and maintain project models (structure, interior, exterior) and manage BIM logistics and closeout documentation. This role shapes how BIM adds value across design and construction, improving productivity and coordination across teams.

• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and schedules with operations staff
• Coordinate BIM logistics (contracts, emails, file sharing)
• Review design documents for coordination conflicts and document them
• Run clash detection on federated models and communicate conflicts
• Prepare and distribute clash reports to aid coordination
• Facilitate subcontractor communication in meetings and sign-off of coordinated areas
• Site inspections and liaising with trade contractors
• Meet with engineers/architects/clients to review models
• Create and maintain project-specific BIM models (structure, interior, exterior) and coordinate with BIM service providers and clients
• Compile contract BIM closeout documentation

• 5+ years in computer aided drafting and design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture 2015, Revit and Navisworks
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Architecture or Engineering
• Ability to understand design and document coordination
• Knowledge of construction industry means and methods
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Self-starter with initiative and teamwork
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
