Manager - Forensic Accounting, Litigation Support & Investigations Consulting

Overview

In this role you will lead forensic accounting engagements within RSM's Forensic Investigations and Dispute Services practice. You will develop complex economic damages models, support litigation with expert testimony, and guide investigations and background checks. You'll work closely with attorneys and executives to translate financial findings into clear reports and engagement outcomes. This position offers exposure to high-stakes disputes, diverse industries, and opportunities to shape damage analyses and investigative approaches.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and defend economic damages models for complex litigation
  • Quantify lost profits, business interruption losses, and other damage claims
  • Prepare expert reports, rebuttals, and deposition materials
  • Assist experts and counsel during depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial
  • Conduct forensic analysis of accounting records and data to identify patterns
  • Support fraud investigations, asset tracing, and due diligence reviews
  • Conduct background investigations of corporate entities and individuals
  • Manage engagement teams, budgets, timelines, and staffing
  • Represent engagement needs to attorneys, boards, and executive management
  • Train and mentor junior staff
  • Engage in business development and client relationship building
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 5-8+ years in forensic accounting, litigation support, damages consulting, or investigations
  • CPA, CFF, CFE, ABV, CVA, CFA, or related credential
  • Experience with complex damages analyses and financial modeling
  • Strong Excel-based modeling and data analysis skills
  • Experience managing multiple engagements and supervising teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
