Overview In this role you will develop, document and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products at Molex's Hudson, WI plant. You will serve as the main process contact for projects, collaborating with the NPI team and operators to build prototypes that meet customer requirements and scale for production. The position involves process transfers, DFMEA/DFM input, and launching lines in low-, then high-volume environments. You'll travel domestically and internationally as needed and contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives. This role offers the chance to shape manufacturing methods for a growing electronics manufacturing footprint.

Responsibilities- Develop and document manufacturing process flow, work instructions, and workmanship standards; train operators
- Collaborate with Design Engineering on DFMEA and DFM per product type
- Lead PFMEA implementation per product type
- Lead product/process transfers to high-volume plants, with potential international travel
- Launch new product lines into low-volume manufacturing sites
- Support existing processes through problem solving, optimization and continuous improvement
- Investigate root causes, apply corrective actions, and document quality issues
- Communicate with NPI team and stakeholders (Design Engineering, Product Management, Procurement, Quality, Suppliers)
- Identify automated and other cost-saving opportunities; develop implementation/qualification proposals
- Contribute to ISO, Six Sigma, EH&S policies and participate in audits as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience implementing new manufacturing methods and training others
- Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA & DFM documentation
- Experience with automated systems to improve process efficiency
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 20-30%)
