Overview

In this role, you join a cross-functional team to advance Crane Nuclear products, test systems, and related hardware/software. You will drive development, validation, and sustaining engineering to deliver reliable nuclear solutions. You'll collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, service, and suppliers to resolve issues and improve products. This position offers the chance to shape diagnostics equipment and support field deployments, with emphasis on practical impact and hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities
  • Join cross-functional project teams to develop, enhance, and support Crane Nuclear products, test systems, and hardware/software
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, service and suppliers to meet objectives and resolve issues
  • Design, develop, document, and maintain components, assemblies, test fixtures, drawings, and bills of materials
  • Develop, execute, and document verification and validation for new products, enhancements, and changes
  • Design and implement test, calibration, and verification procedures for development, manufacturing, and field applications
  • Troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for product performance and customer issues
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Crane Nuclear products including MOV, AOV, and check valve diagnostic equipment
  • Support sustaining engineering activities including improvements, obsolescence management, issue resolution, and EC implementation
  • Maintain accurate technical records and engineering deliverables for projects
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders, including demonstrations, training, and technical presentations
  • Continuously expand technical expertise through self-development and industry activities
