Bioprocessing Engineering Associate

In this role you will support the transfer of semi-automated immunological reagent manufacturing processes and drive improvement projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, run experiments, and implement changes that enable cost-effective prototype systems. You'll perform engineering studies, collect data, and help document methods for production and QC. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that contributes to Process Validation and Engineering Change Orders, shaping scalable manufacturing solutions.

• Support transfer of new semi-automated immunological reagent manufacturing processes
• Investigate product and process issues and participate in improvement projects
• Perform experimentation, implement changes, and design features to achieve cost savings
• Conduct engineering studies, data collection, and testing of process equipment
• Collaborate with production operators on documentation and implementation of methods/processes
• Participate in Process Validation
• Write Engineering Change Orders

• Bachelor in related scientific/engineering discipline
• Industrial/research laboratory experience in medical diagnostic industry desired
• AS with equivalent experience acceptable
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel
• Experience with automation, mechanical design, fluid handling, protein chemistry, immunoassays, and flow cytometry
• Immunological assays may be performed
• Experience working with biology is a plus
