Overview

As IT Quality Engineer, you will drive automated testing across policy systems and third-party integrations, ensuring quality throughout the software lifecycle. You join a collaborative IT team to design, implement, and maintain automation that supports CI/CD releases. You will partner with onshore and offshore teams to develop long-term automation strategies and robust regression suites. Your work helps deliver reliable policy applications and data integrity for a global insurer. This is a chance to shape testing practices in a complex P&C environment and contribute to BHSI's client-focused mission.

Responsibilities
  • Hands-on testing of primary Policy and supplementary applications, including third-party integrations
  • Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts
  • Run automated tests, analyze results, and verify requirements
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to develop automation test plans and regression suites
  • Contribute to test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting
  • Verify data quality and integrity through test scenarios with business users and engineers
  • Support User Acceptance Testing and troubleshoot user feedback
  • Develop and enforce process standards to prevent defects
  • Engage across cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout SDLC
Key requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of IT Quality Engineering experience
  • Experience with test automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices
  • Experience supporting complex systems development or packaged software implementations
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Understanding of end-to-end SDLC and E2E testing
  • Experience working in Agile or waterfall projects
  • Team collaboration with QE, IT, and business stakeholders
