Overview In this Senior Attorney role, you support the Digital Pharmacies and Payer Relations Team to shape legal strategy for pharmacy products, operations, and regulatory matters. You'll provide strategic legal counsel to senior leadership on commercial and growth initiatives and lead complex contract negotiations. You'll collaborate with Compliance and other stakeholders to balance risk with business goals, including the 340B program. Responsibilities- Advise the Digital Pharmacies and Payer Relations Team on legal issues
- Counsel on pharmacy product, operations and regulatory requirements
- Provide strategic legal counsel to leadership on commercial and growth initiatives
- Lead negotiation, drafting, and interpretation of complex commercial agreements
- Advise executives on legal, regulatory, operational, and reputational risks
- Support the pharmacies' 340B business
- Partner with Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Privacy, Finance, and Corporate Development
- Mentor and support other attorneys and legal professionals
- Collaborate with senior legal leaders to balance risk and business objectives
Key requirements- Juris Doctorate degree
- Current, active licensure within state of residence
- 8+ years of experience as a licensed attorney in law firm and/or in-house
- Significant contract negotiation experience
- Experience supporting and assessing large transactions and acquisitions
- Familiarity with healthcare and pharmacy law
- Familiarity with the Federal False Claims Act and Federal Anti-Kickback Statute
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented workplace
