Overview As on-site Project Manager, you will guide the direction, execution, and financial outcomes of Midwest projects within the Gilbane family. Responsibilities- Provide leadership to the project team and foster a positive work environment
- Manage project controls and procedures to ensure on-time delivery and financial targets
- Perform constructability and coordination reviews
- Communicate with construction manager, architects, and subs on risk, schedules, costs, and change management
- Conduct pre-construction planning, scheduling, estimating, and cost control
- Prepare monthly reports on cost, schedule, safety, and cash flow for stakeholders
- Lead safety and quality initiatives on the jobsite
- Develop contingency plans for risks, potential scope expansions, and profitability
- Collaborate with accounting on billing
- Attend jobsite coordination meetings
- Coordinate with equipment planner and field crew for material and equipment planning and projections
- Coordinate with field and labor crews on planning and projections
Key requirements- BS or MS in Engineering or Construction Management
- 3-10 years of Project Management experience on projects valued at $50M+
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience with coordinating trades and administering subcontracts
- Estimating experience preferred
- Experience in self-performing environments; union experience a plus
- Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office (preferred)
