Overview

In this role, you will drive automotive product quality across the NPI-to-production lifecycle for NVIDIA's Automotive and Tegra products. You will lead cross-functional efforts to diagnose failures, perform data-driven analysis, and ensure adherence to NVIDIA quality standards. You'll champion root-cause investigations using structured processes and shape corrective actions with a focus on customer experience. This position offers the chance to impact high-profile devices in a multi-functional, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Act as quality representative for automotive NPI teams and coordinate quality activities with internal and customer requirements
  • Lead cross-functional failure analysis including data analysis, chip-level ATE, system-level test, and silicon FA tasks
  • Drive 8D problem-solving and generate 8D reports; verify effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions
  • Analyze failure trends from customer data and coordinate continuous improvement actions with cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to align on quality and reliability expectations; report automotive quality metrics
  • Share lessons learned from field issues and contribute to DFMEA inputs to mitigate risks
  • Represent quality in internal CRB and MRB meetings to ensure NVIDIA standards are met
Key requirements
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Product/Test/Application/Quality Engineering
  • BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Chip-level failure analysis and debug experience
  • Experience with Advantest V93000 tester and test equipment bring-up
  • Familiarity with system-level testing; exposure to digital design, circuit analysis, and drivers/firmware
  • Comfort with lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, curve trace)
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
