Overview

In this role, you will support financial controllers and service line leaders with finance partnering and project control to drive accurate, timely reporting on project performance. You'll manage cost reporting, forecasting, and IFRS-compliant revenue recognition (POC) for assigned projects, ensuring clean monthly closes and clear stakeholder communication. You'll work cross-functionally with project managers to optimize profitability and cash flow, contributing to the broader financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate accounting, reporting and project control for assigned projects
  • Analyze cost reports with Business Partner and Project Managers to review invoicing, WIP, cost, profitability and cash flow
  • Lead monthly close cycle for the assigned business segment: project review, cost accruals, margin analysis, income statement adjustments
  • Prepare project/segment income statements
  • Set up and maintain projects in the in-house accounting system per contract terms
  • Review project contracts and additional service requests to understand financial requirements
  • Monitor and input budget/cost/revenue data for assigned projects
  • Ensure revenue recognition using POC method per IFRS
  • Code vendor AP invoices for assigned service lines
  • Respond to project inquiries and communicate financial information to stakeholders
  • Assist in preparation of annual service line budget
  • Maintain digital project accounting files
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain strong organizational skills
  • Capable of travel as required
  • Meet deadlines and perform under pressure
Key requirements
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, POC accounting, cost accruals, and project analysis
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
