Responsibilities- Lead and conduct research in signal processing and biosignal analysis relevant to cardiovascular physiology
- develop and validate diagnostic tests or risk stratification methodologies using biosignals
- supervise residents, fellows, and students; mentor PhD candidates in CPH (and potentially EECS at UC Berkeley)
- collaborate with UCSF and UC Berkeley teams to advance the CPH program and related research infrastructure
- pursue scholarly publications and seek peer-reviewed funding
- contribute to teaching and clinical education within the Division of Cardiology
Key requirements- MD, PhD, or MD/PhD (or equivalences)
- 3+ years postdoctoral experience preferred for tenure-track trajectory
- established research program in signal processing and analysis with publications and funding
- focus on cardiovascular disease or cardiovascular signals is preferred
