Overview

In this role you will lead manufacturing and supply chain activities for specialized electronic hardware in a hybrid setting. You will collaborate with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable production and timely hardware delivery. You'll drive new product introductions from development to scalable production, and implement robust manufacturing and quality processes. You'll use AI-assisted planning tools to improve accuracy and efficiency, shaping production operations at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with contract manufacturers and suppliers, overseeing sourcing, quotations, and capacity planning
  • Develop and maintain production plans, monitor progress and address schedule risks
  • Forecast requirements and ensure availability of critical components
  • Coordinate internal assembly activities to ensure packaging and shipment of hardware
  • Lead manufacturing efforts for new product introductions, validating and scaling production processes
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturability and address recurring quality issues
  • Establish communication mechanisms to provide stakeholders visibility into production status and risks
  • Travel to manufacturing and supplier facilities as required to optimize operations
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, operations, or related technical discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations (10 preferred)
  • Direct experience producing electronic or electromechanical products (PCB assemblies or complex hardware systems)
  • Strong understanding of purchasing, demand planning, inventory control, and supplier management
  • Experience transitioning products from low-volume to scalable manufacturing
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and ISO 9001
  • Proficiency in AI-assisted productivity tools for operational workflows
