Overview As Procurement Manager for FBT in the US, you will build the physical backbone of our e commerce logistics network. You will own strategic sourcing and procurement for critical infrastructure, including warehouse facilities, construction services, and warehouse automation equipment. Your work enables scalable operations, cost control, and a world-class experience for merchants and customers. You will shape the procurement strategy for a high-visibility, high-growth business unit from the ground up.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key categories: multi-year warehouse leases, facility build-out contractors, and warehouse automation equipment (conveyors, sorters, packaging machines, palletizers, AGV/AMR, AS/RS)
- Oversee automation equipment lifecycle from selection to acceptance testing, ensuring alignment with build-out timelines and operations
- Conduct market analysis to pre-qualify suppliers and build a diverse US supplier portfolio
- Lead end-to-end RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ), including requirements drafting, supplier communications, and scoring
- Perform total cost analyses to support data-driven supplier selection and negotiation
- Lead commercial negotiations for high-value, multi-year agreements; coordinate with Legal on complex contracts and CLM
- Establish and manage contract lifecycle management including KPIs/SLAs, change orders, and renewals
- Manage supplier relationships and perform Joint Business Planning (JBP) to align on technology roadmaps and cost-reduction initiatives
- Collaborate with Real Estate, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and EHS to align on timelines, budgets, and technical specs
- Drive risk management, supplier compliance, and safety standards across all procurement activities
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement with focus on indirect categories (warehousing, logistics, industrial real estate, construction, or warehouse automation)
- Proven track record leading negotiations and multi-million dollar contracts
- Experience in full strategic sourcing lifecycle: strategy, market analysis, RFx, and supplier performance management
- Expertise in procuring warehouse automation equipment and managing lifecycle from spec to testing
- Based in the US with willingness to travel globally for sourcing as needed
