Overview

In this role you act as the main representative for the administrative and technical management of Fisk Electric construction projects. You will supervise contract administration, document control, change orders, submittals, procurement, and scheduling, collaborating with estimators and the preconstruction team. You'll interface with owners, A/Es, suppliers, and subs to resolve constructability and value-engineering matters. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and profitability aligned with Fisk's values, offering impact across high-profile projects. You'll lead timely decisions that keep projects on track and within budget, contributing to Fisk's growth and reputation.

Responsibilities
  • Represent the project in administrative and technical management
  • Supervise contract administration, document control, change orders, submittals, procurement, and schedule
  • Collaborate with Estimating during pre-construction and interface with owners, A/E, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Review owner contracts and ensure compliance
  • Develop master project schedule and quality control program
  • Manage project budget and forecast additional costs
  • Incorporate safety into planning and execution
  • Prepare GMP or Lump Sum contracts and change orders
  • Prepare monthly owner requisitions
  • Assess subcontractor financial capability and mobilization readiness
  • Manage project assets and cost reporting (look-ahead schedules, job cost reviews)
  • Oversee the company's quality control program on the project
Key requirements
  • Four year Construction/Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience
  • Minimum of five years experience in construction, design, finance and management
  • 2+ years experience with a commercial electrical contractor
  • Proficiency in Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, MS Word, Excel, AIA Contract Documents
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, and construction drawings
