Overview In this onsite role in Tucson, you will drive quality and mission assurance for the AMRAAM development program. You'll partner with program management and engineering to mitigate risks and ensure product performance meets contractual requirements. You will apply APQP/NPI processes and review technical work to prevent defects, while leading corrective actions and shaping program quality strategy. This is a chance to influence a new program from the ground up within a world-class defense company.

Responsibilities- Support AMRAAM Development Program execution aligned with Q&MA policies and product requirements
- Collaborate with Program Management to identify risks and implement mitigation plans for cost, schedule, and technical objectives
- Implement APQP per AS9145 and NPI to establish Product Maturity
- Review engineering work products to identify and eliminate defects
- Participate in technical peer reviews of design releases, changes, prototypes, and test plans
- Evaluate requirements and manufacturing trade-offs and coordinate with Engineering on mitigation actions
- Lead root cause initiatives and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Support new pursuits through proposal development
Key requirements- University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years, or advanced degree with minimum 3 years
- Engineering experience in defense/aerospace
- Experience with reviewing and implementing technical changes
- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
- Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems
- Ability to obtain a Final Secret US Government issued security clearance before start
