Overview In this role you will lead client strategies and service delivery for Kennedy Jenks' water/wastewater projects in the Portland area. You will assemble and guide client teams, manage project scope, schedule, and budget, and drive business development through new pursuits. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality client service and on-time project delivery. Responsibilities- Achieve sales targets by leading new pursuits
- Cultivate and maintain client and partner relationships
- Improve project delivery and financial performance by optimizing operational efficiency
- Lead one or more client service teams, coordinate resources and activities
- Serve as Deputy PM or PM with accountability for scope, schedule, and budget
- Lead client interview presentations, proposals, and strategy formulation
- Collaborate with Marketing & Proposals to deliver sales results
Key requirements- Bachelor and/or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or similar field
- 10+ years of water/wastewater engineering consulting experience with business development success
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools
- Strong client service capabilities
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Some travel within the Portland area to project sites and client meetings
