Overview

As an FRG Associate, you work with Investment Professionals to deliver bottom-up fundamental research that informs investment decisions. You will research companies and industries, build financial models, and draft reports while engaging with management teams, sell-side firms, and industry experts. You will contribute to the investment process and grow your responsibilities over time in a collaborative environment. This role offers mentorship, exposure to a diverse coverage universe, and the chance to shape ideas that drive long-term investing success. Responsibilities
  • conduct bottom-up fundamental research to support investment ideas
  • partner with Investment Professionals on coverage and idea generation
  • monitor holdings and analyze companies and industries
  • develop and maintain financial models and visualizations
  • draft research reports and present insights
  • facilitate meetings with management teams, sell-side firms, and industry experts
  • contribute to the investment decision-making process
  • collaborate with team members and adapt to increasing project complexity
  • travel occasionally for research trips
Key requirements
  • 2+ years in equity research, investment banking, consulting, accounting or related field
  • strong financial modeling and fundamental analysis skills
  • experience with research tools, trade publications, regulatory filings, and data sources
  • ability to generate insightful analysis from diverse information
  • strong written and oral communication skills
  • team-oriented and collaborative mindset
  • openness to feedback and continuous learning
  • bachelor's degree in finance, economics, STEM or a relevant field
  • willingness to travel occasionally
  • familiarity with programming languages (Python, SQL) and data visualization tools is a plus
