Overview In this role you oversee offensive security assessments and threat modeling across Tensor SoC firmware and software stacks. You partner with hardware, software, and product teams to design robust mitigations and security best practices. You lead a team of security engineers, guiding technical work and professional development. You influence security strategy for Tensor SoC and Pixel smartphones, driving impactful, scalable fixes. You will tackle architecture-, microarchitecture-, and implementation-level vulnerabilities to protect users and developers.

Responsibilities- Conduct offensive security assessments, vulnerability research, and penetration testing across Tensor SoC firmware and software.
- Perform architecture and implementation-level threat modeling, design reviews, and security audits.
- Develop automated testing tools, fuzzers, and exploits to identify and validate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, and product teams to design mitigations and promote security best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of software security engineers, providing technical guidance and professional development.
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience with penetration testing, vulnerability research, or code-level security auditing
- 8 years of coding experience in C, C++, Python, or Rust
- 3 years of experience leading teams in a technical capacity or leading technical risk analysis in an enterprise environment
