Overview In this role you will support Manufacturing to move aircraft parts efficiently through the production cycle. You'll collaborate with planning and production control to ensure accurate status, timely material availability, and smooth flow between work areas. You'll handle non-conforming parts, cycle counts, and dispatch accuracy, contributing to on-time delivery and quality. Responsibilities- Verify that the correct jobs are being worked and track part status with planning and manufacturing teams
- Process non-conforming parts (MRRs) and assist in closure
- Facilitate cycle counts and ensure availability of materials, tools, and blueprints at job start
- Review Daily Dispatch List for errors and accuracy against active jobs
- Monitor Material Review Request activity within the assigned area
- Coordinate with Production Activity Control to ensure dispatch accuracy and movement of work orders
- Coordinate with adjacent work areas to ensure smooth movement of work orders and any required transportation
- Collect work orders for planning changes per procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Desire to improve manufacturing efficiency via better material availability and status
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Windows
- Experience with integrated ERP systems
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in parts expediting or coordination in an aerospace manufacturing environment (preferred)
