Overview

As HR Manager at our Britton facility, you will lead and shape people practices to support manufacturing performance and safety. You'll partner with plant leadership to align workforce plans with production goals, and provide practical counsel on employee relations and policy compliance. You'll coach the HR team, analyze workforce data, and drive initiatives that boost engagement and retention. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role with a clear line of sight to operational outcomes and a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary HR business partner for the Britton facility and collaborate with plant leadership
  • Align workforce plans and HR practices with production, quality, safety, and growth objectives
  • Provide practical HR counsel on employee relations, performance, attendance, and staffing
  • Coach the HR Coordinator and participate in leadership meetings and projects
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and advise actions
  • Administer policies and ensure compliance with laws and corporate standards
  • Manage performance, recruitment, compensation, benefits, and leave processes locally
  • Oversee onboarding, job descriptions, and annual reviews
  • Lead safety-related HR contributions including committees and training initiatives
  • Coordinate with external partners for workers' compensation, ADA accommodations, and return to work processes
  • Support training, engagement, and development initiatives to improve culture
  • Ensure accurate HR records and support budget planning with HR insights
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing
  • Experience in employee relations, investigations, performance management, recruiting, compensation, benefits, leave administration, and compliance
  • Experience coaching front-line supervisors and plant leadership on people-management practices
  • Working knowledge of employment-law and leave/accommodation requirements (FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation)
  • Experience supporting workplace safety and return-to-work programs
  • Strong judgment, confidentiality, communication, organization, data-analysis, and relationship-building skills
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship)
