Overview In this role, you will lead reliability, maintenance strategy, and continuous improvement for packaging line equipment at the Baldwinsville Brewery. You will partner with cross-functional teams to maximize uptime, improve line performance, and optimize maintenance costs. You'll implement best practices, lead RCA and Six Sigma-driven problem solving, and mentor teams to build reliability capabilities. This position offers a significant impact on capital projects, asset care, and overall equipment effectiveness within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities- Support packaging KPIs related to equipment reliability and line efficiency
- Lead maintenance best-practice standardization and reliability-centered maintenance across packaging assets
- Act as site SME for equipment reliability, root cause analysis, and Six Sigma methodologies
- Develop and execute reliability strategies for high-speed packaging equipment (fillers, packers, conveyors, labelers, etc.)
- Coordinate and deliver technical training for maintenance trades and operations personnel
- Coach and mentor maintenance and operations teams to build reliability capabilities
- Ensure preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance is understood and improved
- Partner with Engineering and Operations on capital projects and lifecycle planning, including ROI analyses
- Maintain and enhance CMMS for accurate asset data and reporting
- Monitor performance trends, drive corrective actions to eliminate chronic losses and failures
- Improve OEE, asset utilization, and maintenance cost management
- Own and manage departmental maintenance ZBB and VIC budgets
Key requirements- 5+ years of experience leading maintenance and reliability programs in high-speed manufacturing or similar environment
- Experience implementing maintenance best practices, RCM, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with packaging equipment, automation, controls, and industrial electrical systems
- Experience coaching trades in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical controls, PLCs, automation, and predictive maintenance
- Proven problem-solving and RCA skills with business case development
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS
- Experience with Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies preferred
