Overview As Construction Manager, you lead a team of Project Managers to deliver multifamily renovation and capital improvement projects across the Mid-Atlantic. Responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of Project Managers across multiple active projects
- Oversee regional multifamily renovation and capital improvement programs
- Ensure work aligns with contract documents, codes, quality standards, and owner expectations
- Build strong client relationships to drive growth
- Manage bidding, proposals, contracts, and purchase orders
- Promote jobsite safety per OSHA and company policies
- Develop, track, and manage project budgets from pre-construction to closeout
- Monitor schedules, budgets, and quality metrics to meet objectives
- Conduct site visits to verify progress, safety, and timelines
- Collaborate with design/pre-construction on scopes, specs, and budgeting
- Prepare project updates, forecasts, and performance metrics for senior leadership
- Identify and mitigate risks while driving efficiencies and continuous improvement
Key requirements- 7+ years of construction management experience with multifamily renovations and value-add projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Experience leading construction teams across multiple projects and markets
- Strong knowledge of building codes, permitting, and industry best practices
- Experience with competitive bid processes, subcontractor negotiations, and contract administration
- Proven ability to create, manage, and forecast detailed project budgets
- Strong network of subcontractors, vendors, and industry relationships
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with owners, clients, contractors, and project teams
- Self-motivated with ability to operate independently and drive accountability
- Proficiency in project management and construction software (Buildertrend) and MS Office
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally
