Overview

In this role you will lead hands-on automated testing efforts in a banking context, leveraging Selenium with Java or Python, and expanding test coverage with Playwright. You will collaborate with development leads, test coordinators, production support, and change management partners to drive quality across the QA release cycle. You'll own end-to-end testing cycles within Agile and hybrid SDLCs, report defects and metrics, and craft test plans and scripts. This position offers the chance to translate business requirements into robust testing solutions and to improve release quality through data-driven practices.

Responsibilities
  • Perform hands-on automation testing using Selenium (Java/Python) and expand with Playwright
  • Drive the QA release cycle and end-to-end defect reporting and metrics
  • Prepare test plans, test scripts, and RTMs; lead test planning and execution
  • Coordinate with Development, Test Leads, Test Coordinators, Production Support and Change Management partners
  • Execute End-to-End Testing cycles in Agile and Waterfall environments
  • Utilize Unix commands for test automation and validation tasks
  • Collaborate to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Support CI/CD processes and QA activities within the development lifecycle
Key requirements
  • Hands-on automation testing experience with Selenium and Java/Python
  • Strong SQL query writing skills
  • Familiarity with Playwright
  • Experience in Agile SDLC, test planning and execution
  • Understanding of End-to-End Testing in Agile/Waterfall
  • Unix command familiarity
  • Experience driving QA release cycles and end-to-end defect reporting
  • Experience with QTP and Litmus; awareness of CICD processes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
