Overview As Director of DevOps Engineering, you will lead Labcorp's enterprise DevOps transformation to elevate software delivery across AWS and Azure. Responsibilities- Define and execute the enterprise DevOps roadmap aligned with business priorities
- Champion CI/CD, IaC, observability, and cloud-native architectures
- Present delivery metrics and risk strategies to executives
- Build and mentor a global DevOps team
- Oversee multi-cloud Terraform implementations (AWS, Azure)
- Lead containerization with ECS and EKS
- Automate provisioning, deployment pipelines, and monitoring
- Evaluate/integrate AI-powered tools into DevOps workflows
- Partner with application teams, architects, and security for compliant delivery
- Support adoption of AI assistants and automation to accelerate development cycles
- Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence via observability and incident management
- Recruit and develop top engineering talent and foster ownership/learning
- Leverage productivity metrics (DORA, cycle time) to optimize workflows
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years in DevOps/Platform Engineering
- 2+ years managing engineering teams using Agile methodologies
