Responsibilities- Oversee daily plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution to meet demand and delivery targets
- Maintain safety and environmental compliance through a strong safety culture and regular audits
- Ensure product quality and regulatory compliance, coordinate QA and regulatory activities, manage corrective actions, and support external audits
- Manage inventory and warehouse processes to optimize working capital using SAP and related systems
- Lead continuous improvement programs leveraging Lean and Six Sigma to reduce waste and improve throughput
- Set up and monitor KPIs for production, quality, safety, and cost; implement corrective actions to hit targets
- Develop and coach plant supervisors and hourly staff; recruit, manage performance, and foster a collaborative culture
- Develop and manage the plant budget, capital projects, and cost control efforts
- Coordinate maintenance and reliability programs to maximize uptime and plan preventive maintenance
- Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, quality, and commercial teams to resolve constraints and support process changes
Key requirements- 8+ years of manufacturing operations experience with increasing responsibility; Plant Manager or Operations Manager preferred
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools; Green/Black Belt certification preferred
- Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory environments (ISO, FDA); experience leading audits and corrective actions
- Strong ERP experience, preferably SAP, including production, inventory, and materials modules
- Track record of meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPIs in manufacturing
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with experience mentoring supervisors and managing diverse workforces
- Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement experience
- Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and driving cost improvement programs
