Overview In this role you will lead and coordinate highly complex, multi-project programs within a matrix team, guiding initiatives from planning through closure. You'll liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, economical delivery and high customer satisfaction, while upholding AEP project management standards. You'll drive transparency, foster teamwork, and act as a subject-matter expert to shape project outcomes at scale. Responsibilities- Plan, organize and manage assigned project activities with expert PM proficiency (Waterfall, Agile)
- Manage project plan, schedule, budget, tools, and staff
- Communicate project status and outages; lead planning meetings and complex stakeholder presentations
- Develop and maintain relationships with project teams, customers, contractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Provide training and guidance to improve design, processes, schedules and costs
- Ensure safety alignment with AEP System Safety Process and Zero Harm philosophy
- Represent AEP with customers, vendors, and regulators as needed
- Apply organizational PM standards and drive process improvements across projects
Key requirements- Bachelor in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Computer Science or related field with 10 years' qualified experience (or equivalent).
