As Sr. Commercial Underwriting Counsel, you apply legal and underwriting expertise to support real estate title insurance transactions. You will influence underwriting decisions within delegated authority, guiding teams through settlement services and risk assessment. You'll work cross-functionally to ensure compliant, efficient issuance of commitments and policies, contributing to a high-trust, people-first culture. • Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization for real estate title insurance commitments and policies
• Underwrite issuance of title insurance using established guidelines within delegated authority
• Guide company personnel in real estate settlement services
• Issue underwriting standards and guidelines per company processes

• 8-10 years title underwriting experience, commercial experience preferred
• Law Degree required and admitted to practice law in state of employment
• Licensed to practice law in good standing
• Familiarity with real estate law
• Strong analytical rigor and business acumen
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
