Overview In this role you will support the Legal Team at Samsung SDS America, handling technology transactions and advising on privacy and regulatory issues. You will collaborate with internal business units and report to the General Counsel, contributing to governance and strategic initiatives. You'll tackle varied projects, from contract drafting to research, helping to scale our in-house capabilities in a global tech environment. Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate service agreements, statements of work, and technology/commercial contracts under supervision
- Advise internal teams on legal issues related to managed cloud, IT security, email marketing, content management, consulting services, and privacy laws (US, Canada, Europe)
- Provide legal support to Finance, Marketing, and HR
- Assist with corporate governance matters and related filings
- Support ad-hoc tasks and legal research projects
- Prepare reports for HQ Legal team in Korea as needed
Key requirements- JD from ABA Accredited Law School
- Active license to practice law and/or suitable for in-house admission in New Jersey
- 1+ years of in-house or law firm experience
- Strong project management and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience drafting contracts for technology or other commercial transactions
