Overview In this role you will support SRR at the Savannah River Site as a 3D Structural Engineer, delivering 3D modeling and design outputs for structural components. You'll work within an engineering team to develop designs, review vendor documents, and ensure conformance with codes. This position combines hands-on modeling with coordination across disciplines to enable safe, compliant, and efficient facility works. A strong focus on Nuclear/Energy sector standards and security-conscious practice anchors the role.

Responsibilities- 3D modeling using Plant Design System (PDS) Frameworks
- design development and output documentation (concrete, steel, rebar, fabrication drawings)
- review of vendor documents and commodity supports
- ensuring compliance with structural codes (IBC, AISC, ACI, AWS, NFPA, AASHTO, OSHA)
- field walk-downs and coordination with SRR Engineering Teams
Key requirements- Consecutive employment in a similar role within the past five years
- High School Degree (formal CAD training preferred)
- 8 years' experience as a Structural Designer with detailing experience
- 3D structural modeling experience and PDS Frameworks proficiency
- Microsoft Office proficiency; ability to communicate via email
- US Citizenship and potential for security clearance (DOE Top Secret/DOE Q)
