Overview In this role you lead the site maintenance function to keep production equipment, utilities, and facilities operating reliably. You'll guide a maintenance team, drive preventive maintenance and reliability initiatives, and partner with Engineering, Operations, Facilities, and Quality to boost safety and plant performance. You'll oversee KPI tracking and capital-project support, shaping a culture of safety and operational excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role with a focus on continuous improvement.
Compensation / Benefits Responsibilities- Lead and develop the maintenance team for growth and technical advancement
- Oversee daily maintenance ops including PM, repairs, production support, and installations
- Manage equipment, utilities, and service contracts with cost-reduction focus
- Collaborate with Engineering, Facilities, Operations, and CI teams on productivity/safety projects
- Develop, track, and report maintenance KPIs, cost savings, reliability, and safety metrics
- Utilize CMMS to manage schedules, work orders, and records
- Support capital projects, upgrades, and facility improvements
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Six Sigma initiatives
Key requirements- 5+ years in maintenance, engineering, or facilities within manufacturing
- Experience managing and developing maintenance teams in industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of electrical power, controls, HVAC, boilers, plumbing, welding, and mechanical systems
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS platforms
- Strong organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Effective cross-functional communication and leadership skills
- Experience in food manufacturing or regulated environments preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered
