You will shape the company narrative, steer major announcements, and manage media, issues, and executive storytelling across key channels. This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role that pairs sharp strategy with impactful writing. You will explain complex AI concepts to varied audiences and help the market understand Factory's mission and the future of software. Your work blends storytelling with rigorous communications discipline to grow visibility and trust.
Responsibilities- Define and execute Factory's communications strategy in partnership with leadership
- Own the narrative engine by turning milestones and outcomes into breakthrough stories and campaigns
- Serve as primary spokesperson and media liaison to earn top-tier coverage
- Lead end-to-end major announcements (product launches, funding, partnerships)
- Manage issues and crisis communications with rapid-response plans
- Grow owned audience and executive visibility across relevant channels; coach leaders
- Improve discoverability across search and AI answer engines
- Oversee internal communications to align the company during scale; shape talent narratives
- Bring on people and agency partners as needed
Key requirements- 10+ years in communications at high-growth technology companies, including senior leadership roles
