Senior Financial Analyst - Supply Chain

Overview

In this role you will lead COM budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support margin performance across the enterprise and segments. You'll develop financial models to guide decisions, deliver regular and ad hoc reports, and own the COM cost stack. You will partner with stakeholders to identify cost improvements and drive reporting improvements, while presenting to senior leadership. This is a hybrid Austin-based Finance role focused on elevating supply chain finance outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and variance analysis for COM at enterprise and business-unit levels
  • Analyze financial and operational data and develop financial models (profitability by customer/product line, price-volume-mix analyses, waterfalls/bridges)
  • Prepare Monthly Financial Review reports for COM at enterprise and segment levels
  • Own the financial calendar, ensuring milestones are met and issues are surfaced early
  • Deliver routine and ad hoc reporting surfacing trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Present financial results to senior leadership in MBRs, budget presentations, and strategic plan reviews
  • Own the full COM cost stack (materials, freight, personnel, OpEx) and allocate costs to business units
  • Partner with the business to identify opportunities to improve cost structure
  • Design, automate, and improve standard monthly/quarterly reporting, analytics, and controls
  • Support month-end close with variance analysis with Accounting
Key requirements
  • 4+ years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience in manufacturing or distribution
  • Advanced Excel and database skills with complex models, lookups, and large data sets
  • Experience with ERP and BI tools (Oracle Cloud, Power Query, Power BI, SQL)
